I just got YET ANOTHER shipment in. Your on top of this, never a bad moment dealing with you. Superior products, but even better service. I got the following in and have had time to sample them and give my thoughts.


#1. Ulex "Extasse" - A blood red absinth from Germany. Its taste has a nice amount of anise, but at the end has a nice fruit taste. This brands effect are very nice and the other herbs in this really compliment the fruit and anise. Its quite unique and is something great for guest coming over to the house for the night.

#2. "Suiss La Bleue La Clandestine" - A clear absinth from Switzerland. This had a very smooth taste and had really nice aromas coming from the bottle. Its lower alchohol content gave me more room to really taste the ingredients and has a slight minty after taste but the other herbs were very subtle which made a smooth ride down the body. This truly is an excellent bottle!

#3. Absinth Philip Lasala - This was a standard absinth from Spain that we felt deserved a try. Andy hits it right on the nose, trypical and standard Spain absinth. This is something to sip on before you get to the bigger, better bottles. Not bad, decent at best.

#4 Absinth Des Alpes - Montania - This was quite a surpise. I have found a new love when it comes to absinth, and its in this bottle right here. The BEST tasting absinth ever touched these taste buds. It was a perfect balance between bitter and sweet. Smooth going down with a great after taste. This is something Id personally save for special times to really enjoy its flavors. It won the Gold Medal at the Absinthiades in France for a reason. This is highly recommended for anyone.

This was a great round of new bottles that I have tried. I must say, just excellent overall.
All of them had completly different taste and effects which is a plus to always try new bottles. My hats off to Andy for something through once again with his new shipping method, 3 days!!! People shouldnt waste their time with other companies, Andys place is where its at!

Have not tried product yet, this is more of a review of absinth24.net service.
The product arrived in 6 days; extremely fast considering the shipping I selected suggested 10-16 days! I had no trouble getting it through the Canadian postal system .
And to make things better, the item was shipped with my discreet directions!
(It is a birthday surprise for a roommate)

This is my first bottle of Absinthium 1792 and I must say it is FAR superior than the other three absinthes I have tried.
The flavor and smoothness are much better than what I have previously experienced.
The louche was just toooo cool. Most important of all- the Green Fairy has never treated me so well.

It is a very smooth drink. After 2 shots and you are feeling the effect.
Taste is smooth, you do not taste strong alcohol flavor.VERY herbal,which I think adds to the experiance.
Out of the 4 differnt brands I have tried this brand is by far one of my favorites.
Although I may try other brands . I will come back to Bairnsfather.

This was my first experience with absinth, so I am unable to Compare with others,
but I do know that the Vision is not for the faint of heart,
I normally drink Whiskey (Seagrams 7, Crown Royal(preferred)) and
the Vision after only 2 shots, yes straight shots, I had a great BUZZ going,
better than any other buzz I have had in a long time, and it lasted longer than any other buzz.
Now the taste, I can not really describe it, it burnt going down,
I felt the first shot all the way down and then the heat in my stomach was very warm.
The second shot didnt burn as much, at least not all the way down,
I chased it with a fruit juice, need to find a better chaser.
I will be trying Bairnsfather the weekend of May 13th and will leave a review on it May 16th.
I would give VISION a 5 star rating based on effect, and
I would give Andy and Absinth24.net a 10 star rating on service and follow up.

The first package arrived today after just 3 days.
Good thing I noticed footprints in the snow out in front of my house,
but no delivery slip or package.
When I went inside the house, and fortunately looked out on the back porch
(thank god it was still light enough to see!) I saw more footprints in the frish snow on the porchm
which made me curious enough to look around a bit.
The delivery guy had propped the package up against the back of the house in -13 degree C weather.
The bottles were sure enugh cold, but not frozen! Everything was fine!

I had about 5 tall shots and its really seems to have me in some type of Spaced Out Fairy HeadLock,,,
Whoa ...double Whoa.... Although the taste is a bit rough, but nice effect although very strong alcohol effect also.

I woke to a doorbell and a mail carrier holding a glorious box !
It was 11 A.M. and my day off.
I decided to have lunch and tear into my early birthday gift.
I purchased the following two bottles of licorice lambations, Absinthe 1792 and Vision.
Since it was lunch time and absinth a digestive, I ordered chinese delivery.
I proceded to open my cardboard carton of delight while waiting for my grub.
I gathered the ritualistic utensils and stared with wild anticipation at my prizes.
I have to admit that I had started to lose hope they would arrive.
Hindsight tells me now that you, Andy, are a wily guy.
You found a way to get me mine. All I can say is, "Thank you."

I started with the 1792.
I have not seen any green fairys, but the buzz is different than normal alchohol.
The sensation is even different than Jagermiester.
1792 gives a good body buzz. I tried it traditional.
I mixed with Mountain Dew, then DR. Pepper.
I found thst it is tasty with the following:

1 shot absinthe
1 shot rum
5 shots DR. Pepper
Lots of sugar Add sugar till some settles at the bottom while stirring

I am a musician, Singer songwriter guitarist.
One of many in the world. I can usually come up with songs when i have a mind to.
I am not famous. I am a novice, but people seem to love my songs.
I bought absinthe for its reputaion for being a muse.
I wrote three songs today. I will tweek, smooth, then finalize them later.
Hopefully they will sound good when im straight.
I was not too inebriated.
I just felt warm and cozy from my imbibing emrald nectar called 1792.

I recieved my bottle of Bairnsfather in great condition in just 12 days in Ohio. I had been warned that Czech absinthe was not worth buying let alone drinking but I have to say this absinthe is superb!!!!!! I really do not care for anise but it is hard to escape this when you drink absinthe. Well Bairnsfather is truly different than any other absinthe I have tried. Smooth, great taste,and when mixed 4 parts water and 2 sugar cubes(I like it sweet) it is very hard to beat. The buzz is also very pleasent and much more noticable than the alchoholic content. That along with the price and exellent treatment by Andy and his crew at absinth24.net they have a life long very satisfied customer. I will still try other absinthes out ther but my choice will always be Bairnsfather!!!!!!!!! Please try it and see for yourself. You will be glad you did just as I was.

Just letting everyone know that i received a shipment of absinthe to
the US with no problem (and ahead of schedule). I chose the slowest,
cheapest method of shipment offered, which is ground shipping. It was
supposed to take 4 weeks and it took just under 3. They (absinth24net)
have a great selection and good prices. They treat return customers
VERY well and offer specials on certain brands from time to time.
Anyway, my shippments came packaged very safely and I have already
placed a second order with them. Highly recommended!
